Tell the group a bit about yourself; What kind of photography do you like to do? Do you considder yourself a novice or an expert? Would you like to teach or learn something about this amazing field? And finally, what kind of food can you cook?

I like to do photography of wildlife or nature shots. Would like to get into more portrait and artistic. I would consider myself more of a novice, but getting much better at using the manual setting on my DSLR. I am definately in the level that I can learn more

Are there any events that you would like to see us do as a group?

Just some gatherings with both novice, intermediate and advanced photographers willing to swap ideas and share stories.

Of every picture you have ever seen, what is the one that is the most striking, most memorable for you.

The photo of the Vancouver hockey riots of the couple kissing on the street, while the rioters and police blockade are no more than 40 feet away from them.

If you could have one camera and one lense for the rest of your life to use for everything, based on what's out there now, what would you pick?

I'm starting to enjoy my Nikon D3100 (did have a Canon before - lost that in a divorce), but would love to have the D5200. As for a lense, since I love doing nature and animal photos, I would just need the[masked] mm - to make sure I get those great shots of wild (or even zoo) animals froma good distance.

Is there an event up and coming, or was there an event in history that you would have like to have been there to photograph and why?

Would love to been at either Woodstock or Monterey Pop. The acts that were at these two shows were legendary, and to get photos of them would have been incredible.
