Introduction

I love photography, and hope to learn some helpful tips!

Tell the group a bit about yourself; What kind of photography do you like to do? Do you considder yourself a novice or an expert? Would you like to teach or learn something about this amazing field? And finally, what kind of food can you cook?

I am definitely a novice but really enjoy learning new and creative ways to take pictures. I like to try new things when cooking, right now it's Thia.

Are there any events that you would like to see us do as a group?

Of every picture you have ever seen, what is the one that is the most striking, most memorable for you.

I really enjoy black and white photography, I think it brings a certain mood to the picture. Also anything taken at an angle or different vantage point is interesting.

If you could have one camera and one lense for the rest of your life to use for everything, based on what's out there now, what would you pick?

I'm not a professional photographer by any means so it would be hard to say.

Is there an event up and coming, or was there an event in history that you would have like to have been there to photograph and why?

The famous kiss picture taken in New York's Time Square after the war ended. It's amazing how just looking at the picture you can instantly feel the joy and jubilzation of that moment. Also the mystery of who are those two in the picture, I think I like the speculation about it hte most.

Hi Kyra,
I haven't yet picked up my rental yet, so I'm hesitating on saying yes to 3 people. It's an econo, so it might be tight with 3. I'm 6'2" & I need room for my legs as this is going to be a 6 hr drive. But if they 'upgrade' me, then sure! You should still come. I'm sure either I or someone else there will be able to give you a lift tomorrow.
