Introduction

I have lived in Albuquerque for almost 13 years now. I love backpacking, hiking, biking, running, basketball, frisbee, just about everything active! I grew up in Tucson but love the NM outdoors!

Where are you originally from?

My family is originally from Hong Kong, but we moved to San Francisco when I was six years old. I grew up in Tucson, Arizona and love hot weather and the Sonoran Desert. I've lived in Manhattan, NY, Galveston, TX and Panama City Florida.

What places would you be interested in exploring in New Mexico?

I haven't visited White Sands but would like to camp out there during a full moon. I love Chaco Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, the Pecos, Sangre de Cristos, Manzanos, Pecos and Gila Wildernesses. The El Malpais are interesting and the Sandias are not too bad either. Lots to do and explore in this beautiful state.

What is your favorite activity, running, hiking, biking, skiing, etc.?

I enjoy hiking, backpacking, snorkeling (not much of that, as far as NM goes, lol) playing basketball, biking, running, weight lifting, frisbee. I love being active and doing stuff.

What's your proudest physical achievement, (completing a marathon, hiking to the top of Mt. Whitney, etc.)

I completed the Maui Marathon in 2006 and the El Tour de Tucson (the full 111 miles). Backpacked Yosemite in the middle of Winter with cross country skis, almost reached the summit of Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii.
