Introduction
My name is Dawn and I'm interested in getting out and spending time around positive minded people.
Tell us when were you diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Maybe you are new to it, or you've had it for years.
I've been diagnosed for about ten years but I ignored it until just recently when I decided to address the issue.
Tell us how fibromyalgia has impacted your life. Try to think of at least one thing positive .For example, having fibro has caused me to slow down and not rush through life.
I am unable to work and that is unfortunate but I am able to now focus on other aspects of my life that have been in the dark which is beyond "positive" it's wonderful!
Tell us what you would like to do to get involved with this group. For example, you can respond to Message Board threads, you can submit Meetup Ideas, you can help host a Meetup, you can post greetings on FibroFriends members' profile pages, etc.
I would like to be as involved as my health permits.
Tell us how often you can attend Meetups: once a month, once a week, more often, less often.
I can't say in advance how often I can attend because that is a trap I fall into too often. My positive thinking gets ahead of my physical health but it is my hope that I can attend every meeting.
