Are you interested in building a larger circle of friends? Do you want to meet people and have fun times and make even better memories?
This social group is about getting off the couch and living. Its about trying new things and experiencing life with laughter, food, and dance while meeting good people. We are a group of people who like to try most things. Probably even try a couple things we don’t like, twice, just to make sure. LOL!
We are adventurous and like to visit new restaurants, music venues, plays, local events, and attend wine tastings. We put on some good backyard BBQs, have nice dinner parties at our homes, and love to cook. We have done Greek themes, Cajun themes, a Chili Cook off. Did I mention we love to cook and share drink with others!
We go dancing, roller skating, promote coed volleyball teams, snowshoeing, skiing, bike rides and walks. We would like to do some road trips, camping and boating weekends too.
Join and enjoy what we offer and if it’s a fit to your life style and direction, then suggest and help create fun times and adventures for the “forty Something” club.

• Our goal is to be different from some of the other meetup groups. We are not a meetup about large membership numbers. We won’t ever have 784 members or 368, or even 100. Our desire is to stay small with only active members. To achieve this, members who have not attended events in a couple of months will be removed in order to open it up to others who request membership.
• Please fill out the registration information and answer the questions completely. Also provide a current photo of yourself. No pets, sunsets, or your car. Provide your real name. If you prefer a nick name we can add it to your profile as a title. We need to know how to recognize you in a crowd and ensure introductions are made at the events. We have made this a private group to prevent internet surfers and strangers from viewing our members and events.
• This group is for 40-55 year olds. Hopefully, we are young & active enough to try new things and yet smart enough to know better at times. LOL!
• We ask that all members pay $5 membership dues twice a year. This helps cover the fee Meetup charges to have the site that the organizer has to pay. The remainder is being kept in an account to pay for a band for a party or whatever else the group decides to use the excess towards.
You can join groups on Meetup using your Facebook account.
