Melissa, is the map correct showing the parking lot to meet at? I thought that parking lot was passed Academy. I am thinking of the parking lot for the tram itself. Is that where we are meeting or someplace else?

The hike farther up the TWA Canyon took another hour from where we parted. It was a difficult hour to get up to the plane crash site, which was very moving. The upper part of the canyon was challenging, steep narrow trail. I met up with the two guys we saw who helped me get the dog up a 20 ft rock face he couldn't climb by himself.
I got back to the car at 3:45 as the storm hit with hail and thunder, just in time!
I'll post pic's later.

do I need to purchase a ticket for the June 5 event at the Natural History Museum ?

I am the new one. I don't know how to get there.
Could u send me the map? Also how can I keep in touch with you guys?

Aug 31 is Labor Day weekend. We could do a camping trip for at least 2 nights. Or is this for Ojito? Saturday would be better because then people wouldn't have to rush from work to hike.

Melissa, Sure I'd be glad to do the intermediate group. Yes, I've only been once, last year, but I remember it being pretty self leading - only one way up and one way out! We can then reserve the lunch spot!
