How to Join our Kayaking Community

To Become a Member of the Greater Albuquerque / Santa Fe Kayaking Community, you must first be (or become) a member of Meetup.com.  Membership is free and you can register using your Facebook account, or create a new account on Meetup.com

Once you're a member of Meetup.com, navigate to (or search for) The Greater Albuquerque / Santa Fe Kayak Meetup club.  Click "Join this Group" to become a member of this kayaking group.

You'll be asked to complete 3 profile questions, and upload a photo.  Unlike other online communities, we strive to get people together face-to-face.  Online privacy is important to us all, thus the information on this site is available to members only.  Your picture and whereabouts will only be visible to members of this group.

Already a member?  Now it's time to RSVP for your first event!  Life is what you make of it, and this group is no different.  We're an active group, and ready to share our knowledge and information with you....but you have to take the initiative to meet up with us.  If you're not sure where to begin, ask the organizers, attend one of the "Kayaking pool parties" or free clinics at REI.  You'll meet dozens of paddlers welcoming you to the group.
