"Good ideal for a group. Hopefully enough people will sigh up. I moved here about 2 years ago and am dismayed for the poor support and programs here in NM."
This group is designed to provide a fun and safe place for adults with learning disorders of all types to meet up and hang out. It doesn't have to center around disability-related themes or discussions, we could just go drinking at a karaoke bar or go out for pizza... I'm open to suggestions. I just moved to town and am surrounded by neurotypicals who just live in a different world from me and everyone needs friends and camaraderie! At the same time, many people (myself included) would be more than happy to provide support and problem-solving for each other. We welcome all members of the non-neurotypical categories from things like Asperger's to any Learning Disabilities, AD(H)D, affective disorders (depresssion, bipolar, anxiety disorders). Doesn't matter... and you don't have to tell us what your disorder/disability is.
