Let's watch a movie about using crystal singing bowls for healing

Last week the group decided they would like to watch the movie, "Vibration for Healing: The Sound You Feel".  Its about 40 minutes, plus bonus features.  We'll watch the movie and then discuss it. Then we'll play some Alchemy Quartz crystal gem bowls together.

Vibration for Healing consists of over twenty vignettes centering on sound healers--most of whom use crystal singing bowls--and illustrates the many uses of sound for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. From "singing" with the dolphins in Hawaii, to meeting a "peace pilgrim" in Oregon; from a space clearing at a Madison Avenue art gallery to a recital in Santa Fe's famous Loretto Chapel, this film portrays people who have visions of a new day, people who hope to heal the plenty by using their voices and the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls.  Among those feature in this film are author and healer Renee Brodie (of Salt Spring Island) and crystal authority Robert Simmons.

Special bonus features include: interviews with sound healing pioneers Jonathan and Andi Goldman (who trained Nancy Watters) as well as innovative new age musician Steven Halpern; a sound healing session with Diana LaDur-Hand of Wise Awakenings; and biographies and website information of all featured healers.

Donations appreciated to help cover expenses, but not required.

Really interesting, with loads of information on the history and power of the bowls. One only has to sit in a room with these powerful, ancient crystal bowls and this sound elixir will shift your state of being . Try it.

I'd like to buy a copy of the movie. I loved it and it would take many viewings to take it all in.

I'm looking forward to our gathering tonight. We have a full house. In fact I've had to turn quite a few people away (including those on this wait list). I'll offer this again, but meanwhile, if you can't make it, please change your RSVP so that someone else can get in. Thanks!

Dear Phyllis, Welcome to the group. I would love to see you and Barb at this event. However, its really over booked this time. There are a 6 others who couldn't get the Meetup system to work for them and I told them they could come. That maxes out my living room! I'll be offering this again, so don't fret.
