Vacation in VAIL, Feb 8-15

We are sold out; but we are maintaining a wait list, which is prioritized by the time I receive your registration form and deposit check.  For wait listed individual, I will not cash the check until there is an opening and you confirm to me that you still want to go on the trip.

Admit it, by mid-winter you will be desparate to get away from the hustle and bustle of DC life.   Here's your opportunity:  A week-long ski trip to Vail supported by the Ski Club of Washington, DC, the area's premier ski club for fun times and friendly people!  I expect this trip to sell out by early fall, so don't delay if you want to join us.

Vail is consistently ranked the #1 Ski Resort by Skiing Magazine. It amazes with its endless terrain, spectacular views, fabulous restaurants and nightlife.  It is the largest resort in our nation, with over 5,000 acres of the most diverse and expansive skiing in the world.   It boasts 3,450 ft vertical drop from the 11,570 ft peak.   To race you up the mountains, it has the most advanced lift system in Colorado.   Its 346 annual inches of snowfall is supplemented by nearly 400 acres of snowmaking.  And there is sunshine 300 days a year!

Vail offers something fabulous for every level skier & rider. Its front side alone offers more than 127 individual trails that range from well-groomed smooth and gentle beginner runs, and flowing cruisers, to mogul fields, glades and terrain parks.   Vail’s legendary back bowls span 3,000 acres and offer an unparalleled powder paradise with spectacular views and runs.   The seven magnificent bowls stretch over 6 miles.

We will fly non-stop to Denver and stay in the wonderfully comfortable Vail Spa Condos, located within walking distance of the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Lionshead Village.  Condo facilities include indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs and fitness center.  Each luxurious unit is equipped with fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, entertainment center and free wifi.

Included in Trip Price: $1815-members/  membership is $45

7 nights lodging at Vail Spa Condos

5 day lift ticket &  add another day for just $28 more

Roundtrip airfare via Southwest (Dulles/Denver): NO BAGGAGE FEES!!!!

Wow! What a great trip! We had the best skiing conditions at Vail in the past 10 years. A great group of fun-loving, adventure-seeking friends. A memorable event!

I would like to go but I don't need airfare as I fly free. Can I meet up with the group in Vail and stay in the condos and how much would that be for just the accommodations?

    • Don

Claudette, subract $408 to go with your own air. Also, you will need to coordinate your flight times with us, or you will have to get your own bus ride to Vail from Denver airport. Contact me through this meetup with your email address and I can send you the form and explain a few more details.
