HH at Paradise Springs Winery with Live Music

Harley Strings Band is playing , and they sound really good (sort of a Harry Chapin sound) with a sense of humor too! You can listen to them here:

So let's kick off the long weekend with good wine and music in their porch, warmed by the fireplace:)

    I had a great time, thanks to everyone who was there! For those of you who were asking about the '80s cover band next Friday, here is the band:
    http://www.reflexlive.com/
    They're playing at Clarendon Grill next Friday (1/24) at 10. No cover before 9:30, $5 cover after 9:30. See you on the dance floor there!

      Hi Sideh, Well, that message wasn't complete, but there is not an official meetup for next Friday other than the dinner beforehand I am hosting. I will send you the link for that meetup by e-mail.

    We plan to get there before 5:00 so we can find a good place to sit. We will bring some type of munchies to share as well...

    Here is a list of Paradise Spring's wines if you want to decide what you want beforehand without doing a tasting:
    http://paradisespringswinery.com/wines.html
    The line to get drinks can get quite long, so if you're not set on doing a tasting of several of their wines, this list should help you to choose the wine you want a glass of to move things along.

      The '12 Sommet Blanc sounds good. Thanks for sharing!

    My suggestion is that everyone bring cheese and crackers to share, and buy bottles of wine to share. You will need some food if you are planning to stay awhile and drinking and driving; but the cheese plates there are a bit pricey there. Also, seating can be problematic; hopefully some will arrive early and snag some seats. And then people should be willing to move around a bit, to meet new people.

    (continued from last post)
    --Feel free to bring food to munch on while you sip, but food (limited, just meat/cheese platters, nuts and such) is available there although somewhat pricey;
    --When you arrive, grab a drink at the bar, and head to the patio to find us;
    --Lastly, be aware of possible traffic delays on a Friday before a long weekend.
    Look forward to seeing everyone next Friday!

    A few things to know about this event:
    --Please plan to arrive at the start of the meetup at 5 to ensure getting a seat with the group as there are no reservations and tables are grabbed on a first-come, first-served basis;
    --We will be located on the patio where the band plays;
    --I will plan to arrive early to try to grab one of the large couched tables (there are 2 of them when you first walk into the patio to your left, just in front of the band);
    --We will grab more tables as others arrive, and I will mark each table with a small orange cone so you can easily locate our group;
    --If you have any questions please post here or e-mail me BEFORE the event date as I may not have a chance to access the internet that day;
    (continued on next post because there is a space limit on these things)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
