Board Game Night

  • This location is shown only to members

Come one, come all! Come at 6:30 pm, leave a few hours later having conquered a kingdom, eradicated a plague, or exacerbated your drawing phobia.

What kind of board games?

No experience required. Most take 1-2 hours to play, never as long as a DC snowstorm commute: A mixture of strategy and social games, possibly some bargaining with a taste of luck. Warm up with a word game.

The Suspects: Bananagrams, Bohnanza, Carcassonne, Cranium, Dominion, Family Business, For Sale, Lost Cities, Pandemic, Puerto Rico, Saboteur, Say Anything, The Resistance, Ticket to Ride, Tichu, Werewolves of Millers Hollow, Wits & Wagers...don't see your favorite? Bring it along!

For those that want food, contribute $2 a slice for pizza. And you're welcome to bring your own food & drink.

We'll host it at Ed's house where we have had previous game nights. It’s a five minute walk from the Clarendon Metro stop on the Orange line in Arlington. You can also drive but don't park on the street fronting the house. Instead, park on Edgewood, the nearest cross street.

The address will be sent to those that sign up closer to the event. Note, this event is being cross posted with another group. Also, there is a friendly dog who is eager to meet all guests.

This sounds like a lot of fun, but my work day won't have ended by the start. Fun times when other people don't meet their deadlines.

We're still on for games tonight. Snow isn't sticking to pavement. I sent address by email.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
