On Saturday April 19th, the Washington Nationals host their first Pups in the Park at 1:05 p.m. The Nats play the Cardinals. This is also a fund raiser for the Washington Humane Society.
If 13 or more people want to go on the 19th, I'll contact group sales for a block of tickets -- if not, we'll each buy tickets separately. I am told these sell out quickly so RSVP ASAP. Because this is the Saturday before Easter and folks may be traveling, I'll also schedule this meetup for the next game in May.
You can find all the info on the Nationals website under events, or google pups in the park -- it comes right up.
Thanks to Barbara Fiedler for suggesting this!
Here are more details....Purchase a discounted ticket for you, your family and you favorite family pet and support the Washington Humane Society. $8 of every dog ticket purchased will benefit the Washington Humane Society. Upon entering the gate you must drop off a signed waiver form for your dog's up to date shots and vaccinations. All Pups in the Park attendees must print, sign and bring the Waiver Form with them to Nationals Park. You can then proceed to the Family Picnic Area near section 143.
