You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
Hosts are Organizers who are actively organizing an event or meet-up. A Host sets the parameters of the event and assumes responsibility for making the event happen.
The Event Host has total authority over how the structure of the hosted event. In exchange for this power, Event Hosts have a responsibility to not let the group down.
Event Hosts count upon Organizers, Game Managers and Players to make events happen. Organizers and Members count on Hosts to plan and organize events. Because of this interdependence, the mission is most easily accomplished when Hosts, Organizers, Game Managers and members understand their roles and the mission.
Keep in mind that Event Hosts often feel overwhelmed. If you think you can help out find a role that you would enjoy and jump in!
To schedule an event, an organizer simply clicks on our calendar and adds his/her event. If the organizer wants RSVP's he/she should create a "Meet-up". If the organizer just wants to let people know about the event, then he/she will "post a note".
