I think there are a lot of Taishan people but you wouldn't know it 'cause everyone only speaks that at home, you don't find out about it until they tell you (at least that's my experience).

Hi Miyoki. I has been a long time since I can find an event by Cantonese Language Group that I can attend. I'm still interest in attending Cantonese event. The members are always friendly and willing to help and correct my Cantonese.

Hi Miyoki! Thanks for the post. I have been practicing with my CD's in the car. I am better than when you last heard me but not much. Though some friends say that what I can speak sounds fluent. I have been following the group but just feeling a little shy about my ability. I was going to come to a workout event but just haven't had my schedule sync up. I did look at the calligraphy one and will try to go now that you have inspired me!
