HI Terri,
Welcome to Elysian Park Path Walkers! There are a couple of really good trails. One is a 5 mile, and one is a 3 mile walk/hike. The 3 mile loop can be tailored to whatever you want. It has several elevation changes, switch off trails, and can offer different views depending on the direction you go, so it can be a very different walk each time you take it! And it is one hour for the average walker.
