After all the positive feedback from our meetup here during Cafe For The Holidays, I think a return to Jeux Cafe Chimera would be welcome by both our membership and the staff of the cafe/store.

Set on Sherbrooke Street in NDG, Jeux Cafe Chimera is both a game store and cafe with both private and public playing space. Its relaxing atmosphere and unique selection of caffeine goodness and accompanying sandwiches makes for a warm and welcoming environment for all.

    Hey everyone!

Our little discussion on French language grammar was some good fun, but now it's time to talk about the meetup and the games! I will be bringing Carcassonne, Ratus, Quarriors, and Fresco this time around. Anyone who has and suggestions or requests, post below.

I would like to ask everyone to keep a dollar or two handy for table rental. We got to play for free last time, mostly because I was never given a price. I will be properly talking it over with the owner before the meetup starts for this one and for future events.

Randolph charge 5$ AND the drink, if you don't take something, they oust you out, some people leave Randolph with 15$ less and a very small sandwich in their stomach

Joining us for this meetup will be members of meetup group The Sit Sessions. The Group Organizer, Doug, has held one previous meetup that some of the West Island Boardgamers were able to attend, and are still raving about! After seeing that Doug wanted to run his second meetup on this same date, I invited his group to join us and they have accepted.

In other news, the owner has waived his rental fees this time out. None the less, I would like to give him some extra pocket change for the work he and his staff are putting in to make this happen. Therefore I would like to ask everyone to chip in $2.00 for this meetup. (The other group will be chipping in as well).

Just saying, there will be a hardcore gamer section, we are usually bloodthirsty and play to kill

True that, but even the most hardcore of gamer starts out casual.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
