All That and More is exactly that! We're not age specific, (but please be 21+), relationship status specific, or hobby or interest specific. What we do have in common is the desire to meet new people, enjoy life and have fun. Some examples of activities: Hikes, concerts (indoor and outdoor), happy hours, wine tastings, potluck dinners, family friendly events, movies, social hours, sporting events, 5K runs. All that and more!
In order to join the group, please be sure you have a current and clear photo of yourself on your profile, along with your real first name. This helps us identify who you are when you attend events. There is a $5.00 per calendar year dues which you can pay at any event just give your dues to Cindy Losli to be recorded. Meetup charges $180 annually to have a group under the Meetup umbrella- so your dues goes toward that, reserving venues, deposits on venues, etc.
Flaking or no-shows are frowned upon. Our Organizers and event planners put significant time and effort into creating and organizing events, let's show them respect by honoring your RSVP. We occasionally have fixed RSVP activities. Please view our "No flake" policy on these events. Here's the link. http://www.meetup.com/The-Professional-Singles-Group-ages-35-45/messages/boards/thread/9246897/. We encourage you to change your RSVP if you're not able to make it, or vice verse. Please do so 24 hours prior to the event to allow others on the waiting list to join us.
There will not be events scheduled with the sole purpose of profiting any individual or businesses. There may occasionally be events scheduled that raise awareness, money, food, etc. for a good cause such as the OR Food Bank.
We reserve the right to deny anyone membership for poor behavior, (cyber stalking) posting propaganda or advertising for personal gain, repeated "no shows" and "flaking." All that and more!
We're always looking for new event hosts. We ask that you be an active member (attended at least 3 events), be responsible and reliable, and know how to host an event. (Introduce new people, make people feel welcome etc.)
Please come check us out. The situation may be intimidating, but I promise, we're not!
