Join historical interpreters Past Pleasures in an installation/performance of the masque. Three costumed c17 characters will demonstrate and discuss the music, dance, sets and costumes of this elaborate Stuart court entertainment.
Tickets cost £12 (£10 HRP members), including reception and entry, and can be booked via this link.
Originally the property of the Archbishop of York, Banqueting House was used for grand entertainment by Charles I - see my photos here.
We will meet in the Undercroft for drinks. This is clearly an improvement from a previous event on the same subject, hopefully due to audience feedback! RSVPs are closed as this event is now sold out.
