Big wigs at dawn! Why didn't Bach write opera? Join composer and organist Philip Norman for a talk on Bach and Handel.
Tickets cost £5 and can be bought at the door (open from 18.00).
St George's Lutheran church dates from 1760s, with a congregation of German immigrants working in the food industry until expulsion in 1915. It closed for regular worship in 1996 when taken over by the Historic Chapels Trust, and re-opened in 2004. These days it is only open for weddings and baptisms so it is a rare opportunity to visit.
St George is one of only three London churches with box pews still intact - see my photos here.
Please go directly to the church. It is in the street on the right of the Dispensary, where we will have a drink afterwards.
