Fellow member Ricardo Barros' trio Spirituoso is the ensemble-in-residence at the Handel House Museum. This is the concluding concert of their residency, with an all-Bach programme. The museum, as the name suggests, was his London home. Now mainly restored to its Georgian glory, one can hear chamber music in its original context. I will be at the ground floor entrance, wearing my Meetup name tag, from 2.45pm.

The intimate venue for 30 is perfect for the performance of chamber music, where one gets up close and personal to the musicians. I enjoyed the combination of pieces and the blend of instruments, especially the Chromatic Fantasy (note to self - must learn this) and the solo 'cello suite. The only small point is that the room's acoustics favour "bottom" notes and so the Baroque flute occasionally got drowned out by the 'cello and harpsichord. Well done to Ricardo and the rest of the band!

    Hi Miao
Please call the Handel House to buy your ticket as you can't do so online. When I booked there were only 4 tickets left so you need to get a move on.

    Hi Andrea,
Concerts happen every week, mostly on Thursday evening and Sunda afternoon. My trio Spirituoso will conclude our 2 year long residency at the museum with a concert on Sun 23 January (3pm) - a programme entirely on Bach.
    Best Season wishes!

    Hi Ricardo

Do you have any suggestions on times and dates for other concerts at the Handel Museum? I know that the venue is tiny and some sell out very quickly.
