I was a choral scholar and studied architecture. Nowadays I work as a financial planner. Although I sing mainly Renaissance music, I love the drama of Baroque. In my spare time I enjoy photography and playing the piano to my pet cockatoo.
Currently it's the hyper-realistic paintings by Francisco de Zurbarán.
Currently it's Antonio Caldara.

All Things Baroque has an interesting and varied range of events in which to meet friendly and knowledgeable people. Many chamber music concerts involve meeting the performers afterwards.

Hi Andrea and thanks for the welcome.
I thought I saw a planned meetup for the Solemn Easter Vespers and Procession at 6.30 at St. Barts on Easter Sunday or was this on another Meetup site?
Best wishes
Barbara

'Hi Andrea - I'm going to "Byrd: the Hidden Catholic" (Andrew Carwood directing The Cardinall's Musick) at the Wigmore Hall on Thursday May 17th - would any other members be interested?
I'm also interested in the Tafelmusic dinner at the Spitalfields festival - you say to book direct with the restaurant, so does one ask for a place on the "ATB table"?? Regards Rose
Hi Andrea
I'm planning to visit the NPG in the afternoon tomorrow, so I shall probably not be near the British Library until just before they reopen for the evening. I then hope to see the Illuminated Manuscripts (I haven't been to the exhibition yet) but intend having a have a drink during the performance! See you tomorrow.
Regards, Jim
