"No show" yes's are unacceptable

Dear All Things Baroque member

As you know, I don't currently charge for membership of this group. However, I do expect people to abide by common rules of courtesy. That means that if you RSVP "yes" and then can't make it, you either call or text my mobile phone to let me know. An email half an hour before an event is no good as I don't have a Blackberry. If you don't have the courtesy to do this, it means that you often keep other people waiting around for you to turn up, and it's just bad manners. There's a perfectly good "maybe" option on most events if you're not sure whether you can make it.

Persistent offenders (those who RSVP yes and then no show) will be removed from the group without notice.

Thank you and have a nice week smile

Guy
