I found this place about six weeks ago and have been back probably 4-5 times since. I've been totally digging it.
Meat's theme is one of a Prohibition-era speakeasy. They feature a long list of specialty cocktails made with obscure ingredients. They also have wine and beer, but it's definitely a place to try unique drinks.
They do not serve food, but they do have a rotating stand on the bar with jars of free snacks like chocolate covered almonds, chips, pretzels, etc.
Meat's a hip place. Come out and join us!
To support the speakeasy feel, the bar is located in the back of the Blind Pig on the second floor. The steps are on the outside as shown in the picture. The grey door is nondescript and you'll probably wonder if you're in the right place. Then when you walk in, you'll definitely wonder if you're in the right place. Upon entering you'll see a walk-in glass case of hanging meat hooks with slabs of, well, meat. Go around the corner until you see the heavy velvet curtains and you'll find us inside.
It will be like a little scavenger hunt with fun drinks at the end ;)
