DUE TO UNFORESEEN ADDITIONAL FEES WITH PAYPAL and since ATO no longer charges annual dues, the new pontoon fees for the people in the 3rd boat are $15 to cover costs with paypal and money for paper products that I'll be buying to bring so we will have plates, utensils and cups to use at the event.
Fiesta Pontoon Boat Cruise to Kaneohe Sandbar and Potluck Safeway Accessing Kaneohe Base - Need people who are military or have access to military to access base and sponsor those who can't get on!!! LET US KNOW IF YOU CAN so we can get the process done quickly!!!!
It's that time again to enjoy a relaxing weekend with the gang as we cruise around Kaneohe Bay and head out to the famous sand bar at noon. Ahu o Laka or "The Sand Bar" is a small sand islet which is exposed at low tide and awash at high tide. A "beach in the middle of the ocean," Ahu o Laka is a favorite gathering spot for boaters and other recreational users of Kaneohe Bay. We'll eat some lunch, play some frisbee, throw a football, fish, snorkel, take a walk around the sand bar or just relax. Feel free to bring food to share among the group, so please bring something to share, it's a potluck as usual so bring pre-made foods! We On our way back we'll take a tour around Coconut Island, a fishing sanctuary for the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology and hopefully stop for a quick snorkel. We plan to stay at the sand bar until 4:30 pm, if you can't stay for the entire trip please do not RSVP! The cost is $15 per person for the 4 hour excursion. In order to rsvp you will need to pre-pay. Please keep in mind due to the high demand, and dealing with money, if you cancel last minute and we can't find a replacement for you, we will keep your funds to pay the boat captains as they have paid in advanced to book the boat. Also as a perk to paid members, this event will be limited to paid members only.
