Calling all cult camping hippies!
Beautiful beach. During sunrise and sunsets especially water is so glassy and reflective. Most times ocean is calm but even on calm days, currents can be strong so beware and stay alert when going into the water if you are not familiar. There are lifeguards stationed at this beach.
We are officially goooooooooooooing WEST SIDE!! Nanakuli to be exact! We have luckily reserved 3 spots, #2, 7 and 12 camp sites!
For new campers: Welcome and glad you can join us! Please be sure to pay your ATO dues before joining us! ATO pays for all the supplies, canopies, grill, tables propane, paper products that we all use for the weekend and much much more, so to be fair to the rest of the paid members, we require you pay your dues prior to joining or paying me at the campsite when you get there!
We do everything ohana and potluck style. Please be courteous of the fellow campers. If you wish to NOT partake on the ohana style potlucks you are more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks but please do not attempt to freeload. There will be the food police there...and they see everything and I have to hear it all.
The following people will be taking care of the meals:
1) Breakfast Saturday and Sunday - Phuong and Tricia
2) Lunch Saturday and Sunday - Allison and Heather/Brandon
3) Dinner Friday and Saturday - Chantelle/Reggie and Pamela/Art
4) Snacks - Sherman and Jason
5) Firewood - Art
For the rest of the campers and newbies: We need you to bring the following:
1) Drinks - sodas, juices (OJ), water, dessert, smores (chocolate, graham crackers and marshmellows) AND lots andlots and lots of ice !!!
Please be sure to sign up so we know what you're bringing. Keep in mind there will be 19 campers so please bring enough to feed everyone, including drinks and water and ice and stuff for smores for the campfire!!!!
Tricia, Chentelle and Reggie will be getting to camp early Friday to set up for us!
If anyone has a radio they can bring that would be awesome!
Swimming may be a little challenging on this side of the island from what I read so please do be careful and if you do decide to get into the water, use buddy system and please do watch out for one another. We truly are ohana away from home so let's keep an eye out for one another, especially you Sherman!
Equipped with bathrooms and showers.
Bring extra coolers with ice. I will have the ATO big Red Cooler solely for drinking ice so please no one put anything else inside it!
Booze - byob and we often share so if you do plan on drinking please be sure to bring enough for you.
Foodwise - once we're there everything is ohana style so unless you specially mark your cooler to not be touched, I suggest moving it to your tent, otherwise everything we get there will be free for all, simply because it's too hard to keep track of it and quite frankly we're kind of a cult, so we do share and share alike!
Looking forward to another great camping experience with the crew and we welcome the new and returning campers and let's get into some fun shenanigans.
Be sure to bring sunblock, beach chairs, tent, sleeping bag, WATER SHOES, snorkel gear (plan on making a trip to Electric Beach and doing some explorations there) and again, please do watch out for each other!
See you all there. If you need to get a hold of us, please call or text:
Chentelle -will be there early Friday[masked]
Tricia - will be there early Friday[masked]
or me - Phuong "P"[masked] I won't be there until 4ish
See ya'll there!
