Anyone who is interested in crochet, who crochets now or wishes to learn, beginner to advanced, child to retiree, can join up and help me create a local community.

My purpose for starting this is simple - I'm seeking others in my area with a similar interest. Our purpose as I see it is simply to be able to meet others, socialize, sound-off about current projects (or current outside issues that drive us to our hooks..)...I hope we can create a group that enjoys getting together to yack and hook, without needing to do hors d'oeuvres (yes I had to look that up) and fancy little napkins, just people getting together casually.
