Introduction

I purchased my first salon, Amadora Salon, after nearly 30 years in the profession. I have been involved in many areas of my profession from booth renter, manufactures rep, to educator. I began my carreer on Judson St and have returned. 3105 suite D

Do you own a business, thinking of starting one, or are you employed by a company? Tell us a bit about what you do.

I purchased the salon space formerly housing Studio Six in the Timberland bank building. I have named it Amadora Salon. I am putting my personal touches in the salon and hope to draw people to a relaxed, inviting environment where the stylists accomplish looks based on the individual needs of each guest. I am a colorist and use ammonia-free products capable of lifting up to 8 levels without the use of bleach. I use color to emphasize complimentary areas of the overall style design. I hope to secure a skin care specialist and provide an atmosphere where all are welcome. I believe that everyone should be able to always look their best and feel as though my services are priced to reflect this belief. The salon is opened six days a week with early or evening appointments available.
