Hi, I'm Betty. I'm a member of the Florida Trail Association and of the local chapter - the Alligator Amblers. A wonderful group!!
Hi, I attended the FEC Nature Walk in LaBelle today. That was absolutely fascinating. We had a wonderful walk in the LaBelle Nature Park. There were 10 of us and we were led by FL Master Naturalist Margaret. She and other members of the group were awesome and knew so much about the plants and area that we were seeing. We then went to the LaBelle Museum where Joe told us about the history of LaBelle and the early Florida pioneers. An exciting day!!! And if that wasn't more than we could have imagined - we went to Flora and Ellas (a famous restaurant in LaBelle) and had a delicious lunch. Many of our group also had pie (which the restaurant is well known for), but I had already overeaten at that point. Too bad to because the pie looked great! It was a wonderful day. Thanks Margaret and JoAnn.
