My VISION for this group is a very selfish one....

1.  I want to hear good  LIVE MUSIC on stage...music  that I like.

2.  I don't want to travel a long ways or pay a lot of money to do this.

3.  I want to be comfortable and relaxed, and have a good time during "prime time" which for me is early evening hours...not 2 in the morning.

My BELIEF is that there are many people in the North Atlanta area  that share my ideas of a good time.

I like to drink socially....I don't approve of drug use, and smoking will never be allowed inside a meetup that I organize.  I am open to all ages over 21, as well as all races, religions, etc. 

I have leased space in the North Alpharetta area where I have "created" an old, country juke setting inside a warehouse.  This is where I will plan to hold a number of meetups.  I think most people will like the location and setting. 

It is my INTENTION to organize one meetup per month at my place, where I will select a band to play great music..oldies, rock n roll, motown, beach, country, americana, pop.  I HOPE that other members of my group may want to organize at least one more live music event at my place per month.  For example, a nite for Songwriters in the Round, where singer-songwriters perform songs they have written. I think about Eddie's Attic or The Crimson Moon in Dahlonega.   The possibilities for live music are endless, tell me your suggestions.

My place will also be available  for rent for private parties that have nothing to do with this group.  If any of you have a need for a place to throw an anniversary, birthday, goodbye, welcome home...etc...party, let me know....we can work something out.
