I was a math guy originally and almost went the actuary route before deciding on accounting. Actuaries as a group are exceedingly smart in my experience, so congrats on your career path!! A cousin of mine (Harvard/Stanford math guru many years ago), for a lark, took the first 2 actuarial exams virtually cold. Top 2 in the nation for part one and passed part two. He didn't like the "business aspects" (as he called it) of actuarial science, so he went into the computer field instead.

Tahir...Welcome to BGG. Lot of nice people here. You sitting for the CPA exam? I sat over 30 years ago. Best of luck. Of course, everyone knows that the exam was a lot tougher in my day than it is now :o)
