I write fiction - short stories and a novel I'm trying to work through. I like to use the short story approach as a sandlot in which to build my characters. Form there I attempt to weave a more elaborate story line in which to incorporate them.

I have a number of finished short stories that I would like to share. The novel is...um....well....uuh...

Tahir -- looking forward to meeting you. You'll get addicted to this just like the rest of us. It's a great group -- hope you plan to stay for the dinner and drinks after. Pls text me if you are going to be late. We want you to be introduced to the path this first time
Glad to meet you at the event last night, and thanks for taking the initiative to get us into the bar cover-free! (it totally wasn't the kind of place that was worth the $5.) Hope to see you out at future events, and maybe you'll even want to put one together for us! :)
Hi Tahir! Looking forward to Satruday night. Checked out the map but am not exactly sure where it is... is it in the Standard Building?
I owe you a drink or two - thanks for covering for me and I had a great time - hope every one got home safely!
It was great to meet you tonight, hope we can share cooking ideas and stories again soon.
Nice to meet you :)
Hi Tahir :) you were a riot at the previous sushi meet up. Hope to see you at other events :)
Welcome to the Silver Spring writers group, Tahir! Hope you can join us at a meeting soon!
Peace always,
Jane
Tahir,
I was a math guy originally and almost went the actuary route before deciding on accounting. Actuaries as a group are exceedingly smart in my experience, so congrats on your career path!! A cousin of mine (Harvard/Stanfo
rd math guru many years ago), for a lark, took the first 2 actuarial exams virtually cold. Top 2 in the nation for part one and passed part two. He didn't like the "business aspects" (as he called it) of actuarial science, so he went into the computer field instead.
Tahir...Welcome
to BGG. Lot of nice people here. You sitting for the CPA exam? I sat over 30 years ago. Best of luck. Of course, everyone knows that the exam was a lot tougher in my day than it is now :o)
Hope to see you at a jam sometime. Or, come Saturday night (11/29) to Catonsville to hear Ron Baylin's new group play (at Penguin's - 1065 Maiden Choice Lane). Ron is a BGG member and a super guitarist!!
Best,
Rich
