Designers, engineers, scientists, artists, crafters, hackers, builders...Let's get together for a casual brunch and brainstorm the possibility of a makerspace/prototyping lab in Alpharetta. I am excited about the idea of opening a shared industrial space and would like to know if there are others who would like to have a place to work on creative projects.

This is for early technology adopters, digital or physical prototyping gurus, hobbyists, early stage business ideas, and potential R & D projects that need to come to life.

Alpharetta has incredible tech talent and entrepreneurial spirit, but these strengths feel fragmented or isolated at times. Let's start a nerve center for innovation, idea testing, and for having fun and being social.

I'd love to hear what you're good at, what you want to be good at, and what you want to make!

update:

We'd like to invite you to join our makerspace, rates are $99/mo. Shoot me an email to schedule a visit. Thanks, and hope to see you!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
