Well Raven is moving Elizadeath til after sports season, so I'm going to go ahead and start planning this one. Guys, if you have outfits or costumes for this that will work, or props (altar pieces, candles, knives, fake blood, animal skulls, etc) please post here and let me know. I'll work on MUA and finding a location soon, and put together my outit. I'll post soon when I figure more stuff out for it :) But if anyone has anything speak up!

Yes I will be finding out today when Tyler's basketball season is ending and I will move things around accordingly :). I have some skulls human props etc.

Oh yeah, I'll make myself something definitely, but I don't know what all I'll be able to provide for everyone else - I can't afford to be buying a robe for everyone from Halloweentown for sure. They are expensive! If you guys are comfortable going partial nude for this also, that's fine for me. I'd like some nudity in the shoot...we haven't done too much nude with the group. Definitely invite Julia and see if she wants to come! We all miss you :)

I'll start going through my stuff tomorrow and see if I can find an easy pattern for robes...But I'm really going to be focusing more on making a mask for a Satan if I can, and I'm sure you guys have plenty of stuff that will work fine for this - I'll still try to make or bring some extra stuff, I'll let you guys know what I have tomorrow sometime!

I also have a five candle, candle candelabra, and a couple of brass candle sticks, and a real long horn steer skull, four long real sacrificial knives that I will bring. I also have maybe a half dozen fake human skulls with bones, and an assembled skeleton if you want me to bring them. Also, Anessa is attending and she is not shy.

Hey Jon, no, Dystopian isn't definite - They are a bit pricier than most of the studios we normally go to, and it sounds like we have A LOT of models coming. We will probably need 2 MUAs in order to get everyone ready in time, and if we have 2 MUAs it will cost more. Which means a studio would be tough. Do we want to maybe shoot outside somewhere? Griffith Park maybe? The park is big enough that we can set up away from people. Nudes will be harder, but I don't want the price to be prohibitive

This concept makes me think of a night shoot full of candles and shadows. I am going to ask my buddy about using his back yard for this if that's ok. Anyone got a problem with Lennox. His place is right off of Imperial Highway so its pretty easy to get to. he has a fireplace, cool tree and lots of room to maneuver and high fences to create a bit of privacy. Any objections?

I asked and he said "Of course Johnson" LOL. No studio rental means money can be used for props. Dollar Store Candles!!! No photo lighting though. I can bring my little kit but only have a small softbox, umbrellas, and barndoors. Willing to share though.

Yes CJ a backyard would be great (is it possible for you to post a couple photos?). I'd prefer it outdoors and if we are someplace more private, we can do nudes! Sure. I will try and get some pics today or tomorrow to show. There is plenty of room and a garage with a bar and a few chairs that can be used for makup. No mirror though so that will need to be brought in if needed. I don't have a problem with $20. Plan on getting some fire wood too if budget allows. There is a fire pit there.

Event start around 4pm. After MUA and costume setup probably shoot will be around 5-ish. Usually dark by that time. Hi iso can only cover so much until noise starts to show. Can we bring some strobes? If yes, will there be any accesible power outlets around the locations?

I hope this guy has a big backyard, this is going to be one of our most crowded model shoots yet if everyone actually comes! Yikes! I'm picking up a cloak tomorrow from someone but it's red so I'm going to have to try to dye it (I figured I'd pay a little bit extra and buy something nicer I can re-use, though)

The "guy" is Juan. And I estimate the backyard to be about 50x30. He also has a garage that is set up like a bit of a party room. He spoke today about maybe cleaning some furniture out of there so that we can shoot inside too. The walls are draped in red fabric "lennox meets twin peaks" style

It's not what I would call deep in the woods or even deep in Lennox. Pretty easy access from the 105 and imperial highway. Google the address and you should have no problems finding it. Send me a text at 310-245-2289 and I'll send the pics.

I posted a casting call on modelmayhem and normally get a ton of hits from people but only a couple have messaged me this time and neither of their portfolios were amazing. I'm waiting until tonight to see if anyone else responds and then I guess I'll book these girls, but if someone knows someone who wants to come and does good work let me know please. Bring extra candles, weird stuff, etc if you have it

Hey girls, if you can, bring your basic makeup kits with you. I've got some MUAs who said they are coming but I have a weird feeling one of them might flake on us - Hopefully I'm wrong, but let's just bring at least some foundation and basic eyeshadow/lip to be safe. One MUA is going to be coming at 5 and the other will be there by 4. See you all tomorrow!

Yeah it was way way harder to find a MUA than usual this time, I dunno what the deal was. I'm heading out to buy some candles right now, and to make some fake mouth blood. If anyone has any cool goblets they can bring that would be cool too.
