Summary: Agua Caliente Hill is uniquely positioned between Tucson's Santa Catalina Mountains, and the Rincon Mountains. The hike is relatively long and strenuous but the incredible views of both mountain ranges make it well worth the effort. The views from the peak are excellent. This is a great location to view Tanque Verde Peak and the Douglas Springs route to Mica Mountain. Distance: 9.25 miles round trip Elevation Gain: 3018 ft Hike Time: 7 hours Difficulty: Strenuous Meet at Le Buzz, and we'll proceed to the trail head. Hike at your own risk, and bring soup.

It may rain, so be prepared.

Still planning on doing the hike, unless it's raining in the morning. Forecast calls for rain in the afternoon. Sooooo, if you're slow you just might get wet.

I hear Maximus the GSD can really move. Not to mention Joseph...the little guy can really go even though he's legs are only 4" long....come to think of it, I'm guessing Max's tonge is longer than that...;)

Mark... I'm pretty certain that you, and anyone else in this group [ Including Joseph - ;-) ] would MUCH prefer canned soup to anything I could possibly conjure up. Then again, I am WILLING to try something NEW. Are you willing to sample my NEW soup ??
