We will hike from Lost Dutchmen State Park up Siphon Draw to Flat Iron and then down the ridge to Superstition Peak and then via W. Boulder Saddle to Carney Springs Trailhead. It will be about 12 miles +/- and over 4500' elevation gain. It is an extremely difficult hike and because of the necessity for a car shuttle, will be limited to a set number of people. I will entertain having 2 or 3 more very fit people if possible. Depending on the number of people we will need 3 to 4 vehicles. The more people the vehicle will hold, the easier the car shuttle situation.

This hike will feature bushwhacking, scrambling, and route-finding!

If it is warm out it is even more difficult. Bring lots of water! 

Bring energy food and more water (4 liters recommended, more if it's hot).

If inclement weather is a possibility, this hike will be cancelled.

We will meet in the parking lot next to the bank near Trader Joes and carpool from there. We will drop one car at the Carney Springs trailhead and then proceed to Lost Dutchmen State Park to begin the hike.
