Hi girl, so good to hear from you. I think you are the sam e Katie, bicycler, friend of Dennis; we did some hikes together, small group back in the 90's??
I am the Seward for the 3rd segment of the Arizona Trail, and have backpacked it before (last year)
Greetings Katie,
'The Man' has Jimmy working 8 days a week! I'm ready to get back on the trails for sure.
I'm hoping some day to be 1/2 the hiker Katie is!
I see I'm no longer the only rationalist in the group. I always suspected you were enlightened.
Remember: "Pagans are the Reason for the Season"
Welcome to the group, Katie! Look forward to meeting you at one of our atheist events, or with one of the hiking groups. - philip
welcome to the group. There are many people who share your interests and sensibilities in the group. The monk who leads meditation is of course a member of organized religion but the meditation is non-sectarian. The monk, Ajahn Sarayut is an avid hiker and nature lover as well. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns.
Hi Katie,
Boise is actually south of the Sawtooths but closer than us. Spokane and Hayden, Idaho; where I live, are way up north. According to Google, It's just about 4 hours from Boise to the trailhead.
