I work in the design industry with all natural sustainable textiles for interiors. I am very interested in sustainable design, architecture, alternative energy (solar, wind, other) and in how our culture is/isn't changing along these lines.

Sounds like a great idea, I'm going to stick with just organizing our monthly after work meetup, say on the third Thursday of the month, if you'd like to be the organizer for your new event, pick a date and I can grant you privileges to do that :)
