There are two places that are great to learn Italian---St. John's School in the North End on Saturday mornings--which is only 300 dollars from Sept. to May--which is 5 dollars an hour---and the Dante Alighieri in Cambridge which is excellent, very professional, a good price, with a family atmosphere. I take classes there Wednesday nights but they also have them on Tuesdays. I highly recommend both. i do not recommend John Jordan's class, which I've taken. It was my least favorite.
