Introduction

I started this group for a couple of reasons: I am fairly new to DFW and I am interested in linking with like minded souls and I wanted to create a regular meditation group that wasn't of a particular school of thought or dogma

Are you an experienced meditator? Or are you looking to learn or deepen your inner experience?

I began "experimenting" with trance when I was 13 and immersed myself at 28, ever since my experiences have ranged from nuttin special to profound... today, what was once profound is normal, and I am curious what lies beyond my mind... so I continue

Have you ever walked on fire? If so, explain your experience? If no, does the possibility excite you?

Yes! A few hundred times now over the past 20 years. My second time was the most profound and exhilarating, but every time is a new experience. When I take it for granted the fire always reminds me just how hot it is.

Have you had what one might call a mystical experience? Or is that what you are looking for?

Yes I have; a number of times, but it's something that I rarely talk about because such experiences are so personal. Words rarely do justice to the experience and in most settings it can come off as "spiritual egotism". "Look at me, aren't I special"

What do you hope to achieve from meditation?

A merging with Universal Consciousness, communion with God/Goddess/All-That-Is where I experience that connection in every waking moment while I continue to live my incarnate life like everyone else, yet with supreme awareness of the Infinite.

Do you practice self-hypnosis? If no, would you like to?

At 13, I sent away for a mail order hypnosis program and have been trancing out ever since. Now a Master Hypnotist trained in the Ericksonian style, I experience the mind as my playground and ultimate frontier.
