Kimberly... You can remove yourself.... Or I can do it for you. I know how bothersome it is sometime to receive emails that don't seem to apply to you.
I am requesting that you perservere in our meetup and on our mailing list. This actually the first email I have posted in 3 months.
I did so partly because I felt guilty for not scheduling anything lately because my professional life has been so busy. I wanted to send something that said I was still alive. ;-)

I'll let the guilt go... It doesn't serve anyone but my ego to create me as less than. I asking you to let go of anything that you are judging about receiving this email.
Consider it mind training... A meditation to just be with it.

I want to thank you for writing. It made me present to the fact that I have been ignoring my meetup, you and the others that are interested in meditation. It was a reminder that one is only too busy to meditate if they choose to be. It is such a restorative practice that it irresponsible of me to be "too busy"....

So tell me the type of meetup you want, the experience you want and I'll create it.

Thank you for who you are... It was just the message I needed to become re-aware of... I am blessed.

I would like to request to be taken off your list of members. I live in Arlington and can't make trips over to Richardson very much. I really hate the traffic, too.
I appreciate your hospitality and wish you much peace and happiness.
 Thanks!

Daniel,

I feel we may have the opportunity here for collaboration we discussed last month.

The DMC is looking to host workshops, retreats, etc? as well as lease the office spaces as described below.

I?d love for you to be comfortable sharing this with your group and perhaps schedule an event with your group at the center soon.

My best,

Joshua

About Awakening Heart (Interfaith Mindfulness Ministries)

Awakening Heart, currently based in Dallas, Texas, was founded by Br. ChiSing, M.Div., M.A., as a spiritual ministry inspired by the universal teachings and practices of the contemporary Buddhist teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh, and his "Order of Interbeing" composed of both lay and monastic members worldwide.

Spirituality, meditation, and "The Art of Mindful Living" are the basis of our classes, workshops, retreats, special events and communities. Buddhist spirituality, as it was originally intended by the Buddha, is not exclusively "Buddhist" but universally applicable and beneficial for people of all faiths.

Br. ChiSing, M.Div., M.A

Thich Nhat Hanh

The word "Buddha" simply means to be "awake" or "enlightened," which is the potential in every person. Mindfulness is not limited to one religion, it is an ecumenical spiritual practice and a non-sectarian way of life that can benefit anyone and everyone, whether Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, or those of other faiths as well as the non-religious.

We are intentionally very beginner-friendly, and we warmly welcome and affirm people of all ages, religions, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, abilities, classes and levels of meditation experience. We especially welcome those who have been spiritually abused by religious fundamentalism and who are seeking a safe refuge for inner healing within genuine spiritual community.

Whoever you are, and wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. "You have arrived, you are home." More at http://www.awakeningheart.org/about.htm
