Introduction

I'm an entrepreneur in every sense of the word! I absolutely LOVE running my businesses. Being a business owner is one of the most powerful decisions that someone can make in their life, but as I've found, easily one of the most rewarding.

What kind of business do you own or work for?

In January 2011 I became the Operations Manager for Lead Safe Testing LLC. A full service lead testing business utilizing the latest technology for accurate and professional lead testing. Taking this position meant giving up a five year run with my residential remodeling business, but so far the growth has been amazing. I also have a property management business with six properties under my management for the last four years. The business that I am most passionate about is a fantastic and growing financial services agency with Five Rings Financial. I have been building my agency for the last three and a half years and can attribute the majority of my success to the amazing people and the amazing attitude at Five Rings. My mentor always says to "Work harder on yourself than you do on your business." I have taken this to heart and my personal growth has helped me tremendously in all aspects of my business life and my personal life.

What would you like to get out of this group?

I would like to meet like-minded entrepreneurs to share successes and challenges and help each other to get more our of our respective businesses.

Fantastic and unique MeetUp! I've only missed one since I started coming in January. I'm very impressed with everyone's interest in helping out other members rather than just trying to push their product or service. Jeff is a great Organizer and demonstrates his desire for everyone's success by having an agenda for the meeting and discussions about hurdles that business owners face and how collectively we can overcome them. Everyone participates during the MeetUp and the group discussions really bring some insight into cultivating a successful business by everyone collaborating to utilize other people's experience and knowledge.
