Yay! We're back! I little short notice perhaps, so this will most likely be a small group, but I wanted to have a November one nonetheless!
In this month's discussion we will explore the different facets of being out in life, the consequences and how minority stress comes into play in our lives. This may sound a bit academic, but it really isn't. Sorry to appoint you academics out there!
As per usual, the discussion will run for the first 2 hours and will then turn into a social much.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Oh, and if anyone is interested, there's a free book online about minority stress. It has a few years on it, but is still relevant:

The umbrella munch aims to create a safer space in which we can safely disclose things about ourselves and share our experiences and our points of view. Thus, sexism, biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, racism and other forms of oppression are not tolerated. We also ask everyone not to gossip about what other people disclose in our space, as well as respecting the fact that this is not a place for cruising.
