Valentine's Day Contest 2/11 and 2/13; Guitar Demo to serenade!

Hi all, Valentine's Day is approaching! And with that we have a CONTEST! First of all, our new Guitar teacher John will be serenading our Valentine's Day Contest days with a demo and maybe some romantic music. Good chance to try out a Guitar lesson! Now, on the week of Valentine's Day, Tuesday 2/11 and Thursday 2/13,
everyone who wants to participate in the contest must either bring in
or wear at least one item related to Valentine's Day. This can range
from a single item (such as a piece of artwork), to a costume, to a
collection of tokens, as one wishes. 1st and 2nd Place Prizes will be
awarded to the most creative holiday-related tokens, and will be judged
on the basis of (a) originality, (b) quality, (c) relevance to themes of
love, romance, and the holiday (red and pink colors help). One year's winner was some absolutely delectable CUPCAKES!
Will we have a repeat? 1st Place Prize: $25 credit 2nd Place Prize: $10 credit In addition, if anyone *NEW* to NESA: (a) comes that week with a token,
(b) tries at least one class and ENROLLS in it, and (c) wins a contest prize,
he/she will receive an EXTRA $10 credit with his/her prize. Basic rules: each participant in the contest MUST be present that
week with his/her item in order for the items to be counted. Also,
each participant may enter as many items as he/she wishes, but is
eligible for only ONE prize. Home-made and store-bought items are both
acceptable, but store-bought items must be disclosed as such if one is asked.
NESA staff are not eligible to participate. Looking forward to AMORE! :-) Nicholas P. Sterling, Ph.D.
NESA, Holiday Contest Chief Judge
