This group is for amateur photographers who want to get together with others and swap knowledge, go on "field trips", and practice together. I learn more from others and when having fun than anywhere else. We meet as often as we can, and whenever there is interest. Looking for people who know absolutely nothing yet, to folks who really know their way around a camera. People who feed off other's energy and creativity to those that just like to do things together, take pictures, and meet new people.

We have a unique opportunity to spend some time in a South Austin home with some great views of downtown. The event will include the best time of day to take downtown shots, the sun setting, maybe some portraits of folks who are there with the view in the background, and of course food and drinks.
