Romantic Classics

AmateurPianists invites you to share the joy of romantic piano music in a Valentine’s recital featuring classics by Beethoven, Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, and more. Pianists can sign up to perform a selection of their choice by one of these or any other composer.

This recital is free to attend as an audience member. The cost to participate as a performer is $20. This contribution goes towards our operating costs, allowing us to consistently bring you enjoyable, free, and one-of-a-kind recitals throughout the year. To register to perform, please use the PayPal donation link at the bottom of our website www.AmateurPianists.org.

Please note: program has been filled as of Oct 23, however you can be placed on the standby list.

If you'd like to perform at this recital, please send an email with the name and composer of your piece (up to 10 minutes in duration).

Betty, I'm so dearly pleased with your response to the recital. I also find it so wonderful to have pianists play music they enjoy for our audiences. The next recital is March 22 at Greene Music, and I know you'll love that one as well!

I went to 540 Cornish Dr. San Diego as written and got to Point Loma sunset cliff area where i had trouble getting network connection to look up Encinitas public library address on my phone to double check, because i couldn't find one around. Later i got home and looked up and realized it was in Encinitas city instead of San Diego (silly me, i thought so at first but i blindedly entered the given address and it was too late by the time i realized). Oh wells :( Next Time.

Are performers to prepay via Paypal or are we doing it at the time and place of the venue via the donation box?

    • Glenn K.

Hi Max, the preferred method is to pay in advance with PayPal or check. Thank you for your payment which we received at the George Fee presentation. I look forward to your performance.

Hi Glen, would it be ok if I were to record the recital. I have a dat tape recorder. I would like to play but it seems that everything is filled up. Bob Vreeland

    • Glenn K.

Good morning, Bob, it's perfectly fine if you would like to record your own performance, but I would ask permission from the other performers if you would like to record their programs. I have placed you on the standby list. The February program got filled very quickly, however I'd love for you to play for us at the next opportunity. We still have plenty availability for our March "Women Composers" themed recital.
