Proceeds support our mission of bringing free piano recitals, masterclasses, and lectures to San Diego. More details to come soon, but RSVP now as an audience member, or sign up to perform!

2pm Piano Recital begins

2:45pm Intermission

3:45pm Winners of Silent Auction announced

If you have a musically-inspired gift or service to donate at our Silent Auction, please let us know by emailing [masked] before June 26.

This recital is free to attend as an audience member, but a small "pay-for-performance" fee of $20 is required for pianists wishing to perform by using the PayPal donation link at the bottom of our website www.AmateurPianists.org. This contribution goes towards our operating costs, allowing us to consistently bring you enjoyable, free, and one-of-a-kind recitals throughout the year. The program was filled as of April 27, however you can be added to our standby list in case any performers cancel.

Founders’ Hall in Solana Beach is located within the San Dieguito Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Attend as an audience member, or sign up to perform any classical piece of music of your choosing. (This is a free recital, but an RSVP is recommended).

My vehicle is inop this weekend, and I'm terribly disappointed about not being able to attend this recital, especially with the Chopin pieces on the Program! Hopefully someone else might be able to take my spot.

Prior arrangements consuming that entire day had been made and forgotten until last week. Regrettably, I can't be two places at once.

So sorry I will miss this recital. I'm playing in another on the same day. Not sure if there will be future events a little up in the north? I live a little far. :-)

    • Glenn K.

Hi Cindy, thanks for writing, I'm glad to hear you'll be giving a recital as well. Please let us know when you'll be performing again and post it on our messenger board here so that our group can come listen. We'll certainly have more events scheduled in north county in the future.

Do you need my auction item in advance, or shall I just bring it on the day?

    1 · June 3, 2014

    • Glenn K.

Hi Tony, thank you for your wonderful auction item. You can bring it to the event on the same day. Set up should be complete at 12:30pm, so if you can join us at that time, that would be ideal. The silent auction itself (open to the public) begins at 1pm.

Glenn, if you still have room on the program, I would like to play Debussy's Prelude from the Suite "Pour Le Piano". Thank you!

    April 29, 2014

    • Glenn K.

Hi Katya, thank you for writing about playing on the July 26 program. We already have a filled program with 8 performers, but I've added you to the standby list (you're second on the list). I hope we can hear you play the beautiful Prelude by Debussy. I'll let you know if any pianists cancel so that we can add you "officially." Thank you!

      April 30, 2014

  • Sharon M.

I don't know if you got my post, Glenn but if there is room I would like to play the Schubert I mpromptu in Ab, Op 142, No. 2. Thanks.

If you have room on the program, I would love to play. Not sure of the piece right now but will let you know.

Hi Barbara, yes I will be very happy to add you to the program. You can let me know the piece later. It was great to see you yesterday and thank you for playing the Liszt piece at the masterclass.
