Glenn, Gary & Tavner: Thank you for all of your hard work and effort in making yesterday's piano recital and silent auction a great success. My sister is very happy about the wonderful painting that she got from the auction. She can hardly wait to get it back to Japan and frame it and hang it on her wall. Again, thank you very much for such a wonderful time. I'm very happy that my sister was able to be here to enjoy it as well. I look forward to seeing all of you at our next performance.

I wanted to go, but traffic was terrible from Long Beach, and could not make it.....Sorry..

    July 21, 2013

    • Glenn Kramer

Hi Aska, I'm sorry about the traffic from Long Beach. One of my friends also came down from LA but it took him 3 hours because of the traffic situation. I wish it wasn't so bad. Are you a member of the Long Beach Piano Meetup Group? It's a great piano group, I attend sometimes.

Hi Naomi, thank you for joining our piano group! We have two people on the standby list already. I will be happy to add you on just in case. I hope either way you can join us, it will be a fun recital as well as a silent auction—our first one we're organizing. The silent auction starts at 1pm. Best regards, Glenn

Are there really intermediate or student type pianists here, or is everyone gearing up for "the piano recital" solo? I am a classical song singer and I need to find pianists who get paid by the establishments who hire me. Pianists wanting experience, to get PR out by the people hiring for gigs..

    • Jim Frimmer

Joseph, I am a professional accompanist (I am on the vocal arts division faculty) at SDSU. I am always looking for gigs outside SDSU. Let me know if I can help. [masked] or [masked]

My late husband as well as my mother-in-law used to play the piano quite often... I find the sound of it absolutely beautiful.
Looking forward to attend and listening to this recital.

I would like to Perform in this receital. I will play a Scriabin Prelude Op 13, No 1 and Scriabin Etude Op 8, No 12. Thanks.

    March 25, 2013

    • Glenn Kramer

Hi Bill, this program got filled quite quickly, however I will put you on the standby list in case there are any cancellations. You are third on the standby list. I will post another classical recital very soon, as soon as I confirm a location. There's still openings for students at upcoming masterclasses if you'd like to play a Scriabin etude. Either way, we are glad to have you as a member and participate!

    Glen
Fo Jully, my sons and I want to perform too. If there are 2 pianos, we want to perform concerto #2 in G minor from Saint Saens 3th movement and Chopin Prelude #24 in D minor. Or else, for me, I want to perform Brahms Hungarian Dance No. 5 for Piano 4 hands (Locson and Gialong). For my other son Gialan, Prokofiev Sonata No. 7, 3rd movement, Chopin Prelude #24 in D minor, Op28/24, and Etude OP 10 #1 (if there is time).
    Thanks
    Locson
