This was the first meetup of Amazon AWS User Group of Pune. Highlights of this meet up: 1. Inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Vikas Gupta, Practice Head, Cloud Computing, Mindtree Ltd. 2. Satish Agrawal, VP- Cloud Computing Practice at e-Zest Solutions Ltd. briefed about the meet up, its vision, leadership team structure, planning of future events and agenda. 3. Satish Agrawal briefed about the vision of sponsoring projects in cloud computing for bright students. 4. Vikas Gupta explained how enterprises and companies are benefiting from cloud computing. 5. Vikas Gupta explained role of testing professionals in cloud computing and threw some light on increased complexity in testing distributed applications on cloud for scalability and performance. 6. Devendra Dhawale, VP - Global Sales at e-Zest Solutions Ltd. explained how sales team has a bigger responsibility of educating customers about benefits of cloud computing, what CAPEX is, what OPEX/CAPEX is.
