A taste of home and folks who know what a change it is to move so far away. We are Northern Irelanders now as well as North Americans. We live in or around Belfast. We will come together to support, share & commiserate with each other and compare experiences and recipes! Just want to have a jar and talk to someone from home? Well, we are creating this Meet Up Group for just that purpose. It is my hope that we can meet up for American and Canadian holidays to make them less lonely. Also to make friends and have a laugh or a cry & go and do stuff! Who should join? Anyone! We don't mind if you are an ex-pat or a local, if you like North Americans and want to learn about our culture or just hang out, or if you are an Ex-Pat and want to meet others, then you and your families are welcome. My name is Kelly and I am looking forward to meeting you!

What members are saying

It's a great way for North American ex-pats to meet up and get to know each other.

“Recently moved to Belfast from the US, to do my PhD in Irish Studies. Always looking to meet new people, and wouldn't be bad to meet people I can share American holidays (4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc) with!”

“I just moved to Dungannon in June to get married! I studied with Ulster at the Magee campus in 2008 as well, and absolutely loved it. Meeting other Americans or Canadians would be wonderful!”
