This sounds like a very timely presentation considering all that is going on with the European monetary and political union. It is a discussion held at Champlain College, led by Professor Ciaran Buckley. Other highlights include: 1. it is indoors (warm) and 2. it is FREE! MichaelOverall it was good to get the European perspective on the ongoing developments "across the pond", something lacking in US media coverage. I certainly agree that what is happening is more than a short term business cycle type event. But there were some good questions from the audience that could have been answered more in depth had time allowed. -

jon bondyWhile the speaker was experienced, articulate, and intelligent, at the end of the talk, he returned to the talk title ("Europe: Broken or in Transition"), and simply asked the audience "You tell me". I expected at least an attempt at an answer, and found his attitude to be frustrating.
